What is Osteopathy?


In brief, Osteopathy is a way of detecting and treating damaged parts of the body such as muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints. When the body is balanced and efficient, just like a well tuned engine, it will function at its optimum, leaving more energy for living. All osteopathic techniques are safe, gentle and highly effective.

Everyone from the newborn to the older person can benefit from osteopathic treatment. Qualification as an Osteopath requires completion of a BSc Degree course (min 4 years) in Osteopathy.
